I take a breathe and wait.
I look and observe.
I think, is there anyone watching? Who is going to listen?
Do I even have something to say?
Their waiting—they're becoming restless.
I stand—barely, knees wobbling, heart racing, I question why am I here.
What do I have to offer? Self-doubt begins to make it's home in my already insecure heart.
They're still waiting—do I have anything say?
You have a voice. Obvious, I know.
But I'm not just talking about your ability to make verbal noises, communicate words, or utter sentences.
I'm talking about your ability to impact the people around you through the words you speak, ideas you convey, and the life you live.
Whether your voice has immense reach throughout the world or you have a small local community to which you find most of your impact, you have a voice.
What do you have to say?
Perhaps you have a story to tell, a specific message that your heart has been lead to share.
Maybe you have a job to do, 9 to 5, a hard day's work, what is your life saying there?
So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31
Some believe that they have nothing of worth to say. Is this you? Have your insecurities silenced your voice?
God whats you to use your voice, he wants you to speak of his glory to all creation.
Let your life speak of His character. Let the life that shouts out as you live, tell of the majesty of our Father.
The world is loud, shouting disorder and destruction that has an eminent ringing. The sound brings a headache.
So many say they have nothing to say, so the sound of the world plays on replay.
The voice of beauty, justice and mercy are rarely heard, because we live in our silent insecurity.
"I have nothing to say." You know that's not true.
Your voice is your life. What you say has a tone. Creation groans for their Maker, let your voice echo in our loud world.
You have a voice. God says - Use it.
